  • Outdated Branding: Gyanwoods’ visual identity no longer aligned with their evolving market presence and needed a modern update.

  • Disjointed Color Scheme: Their previous branding lacked harmony and consistency in color use.

  • Logo Misalignment: The existing logo didn't clearly communicate the brand’s essence of freshness, elegance, and peace.

1. Deep Research

We dedicated 5+ hours of research to understanding the essence of Gyanwoods, their target market, and what their brand needed to communicate.


  • We studied the psychology of colors that align with Gyanwoods’ values of calmness and sophistication.

  • Analyzed competitor brands and trends in the home décor and lifestyle industry to differentiate their visual identity.



 

2. Inspirations & Mood Board

We gathered inspiration from brands in related industries that conveyed similar values, such as sustainability and luxury.


  • Focused on the use of calming colors like shades of argent and grey, with occasional accents of black for contrast.

  • Created a mood board to define the direction for visuals, typography, and overall brand feel.

 


3. Naming Convention

Working with the brand’s existing name, we ensured it became a central part of the visual story. The name "Gyanwoods" encapsulates knowledge (gyan) and growth (woods), which was reflected in our design choices.


 

4. Logo Design

We explored multiple design options, carefully balancing symbols of growth and peace through organic shapes and smooth lines.


  • Developed several iterations of the logo, emphasizing clean shapes, refined typography, and a harmonious color palette.

  • Created a version of the logo in argent, grey, and black, ensuring its versatility across both light and dark backgrounds.

 


5. Brand Book

We crafted a detailed brand book that serves as the foundation for all future visual communications.


  • Defined guidelines for logo usage, typography (Poppins as the brand font), and colors.

  • Established design standards to ensure consistent brand representation across different mediums, from digital to print.



 


6. Marketing Collaterals

We designed a wide range of marketing materials to bring the new brand identity to life:


  • Business cards, brochures, and social media templates that reflect the brand’s elegance and tranquility.

  • Ensured all designs adhered to the brand guidelines, with minimal yet impactful use of red and black as accent colors.
